Salesforce announced security improvements that can affect users of the go.pardot.com domain tracker for iFrames. The enforcement date of the update is Friday, August 12, 2022.
The forms affected that are allocated on the landing pages, must change the default domain tracker go.pardot.com to their own custom domain tracker, and update the forms link on the landing page. The go.pardot.com domain tracker won't disappear, but the custom domain tracker is the recommended one from now on.
Tracker Domain
Tracker domains are a branded URL that gives your visitors a seamless transition between your hosted pages and forms and your Pardot assets.
An example of the change that must be done is if you change your phone number. Every person with the old number must be updated with the new number to be reached. Every page with a form must get its domain tracker link updated.
Reasons not to use go.pardot.com
Browsers are blocking cookies from third parties, to protect user data, and to improve user experience. Browsers like Safari are already doing it and Google plans to do it as of 2023.
Leads cannot be tracked across domains, content must be on the custom domain tracker.
Forms will be affected if go.pardot.com is used. JavaScript, reCAPTCHA and Resubscribe functions will no longer work.

Ensure to update any web pages with iframe in or link to Pardot forms using your custom tracker domain.
All the changes done on the form’s domains must be updated on the website, and the link must be re-posted with the new domain.
After reviewing the list with all the content that must be changed to the custom domain tracker, you can activate the update by clicking on the message or wait until August 12 for the general update.
